Burton & District Model Boat Club

Burton & District Model Boat Club provide facilities and support for most types of boat modellers, static, scale, yachting, etc. Our sailing water at Branston is not suitable for straight running, and we try to limit high speed IC boats to a few special events in the year as the water is also a nature reserve.

We had a very successful Midlands show this year

The Club won five best in class trophies and Best stand, well done to all those who attended and helped out.

On this site you will find membership details, a copy of our Club Rules and also details of the current Committee. The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month in Woodville Snooker Club (Click here for Map and use "get directions"). If you want to find out more about us, please come along and introduce yourself.

The sailing waters remain available to members all year but DON'T FORGET from 1st October to 1st April the Water Park closes at 5pm. Scale members normally get togehter for a sail on Tuesday evening starting at 5pm. Our yachting members normally sail on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings.
